The A. Schild 1220 is a hunter calibre watch movement introduced in 1929. It features a bimetallic screw balance with 4 adjustment screws and a Breguet hairspring. The J43 has a separate escape-wheel cock and was produced specifically for Alpina watches. It is uncertain whether these calibres were also used in Junghans timepieces. The J43 movement offers stem winding and setting, a sub-second display, and a hack feature. Its period of use spans from 1929 onwards.
