The A. Schild 1153 watch movement is an open face calibre, featuring optional Breguet hairspring and varying bridge shapes. It is likely equipped with a left-handed ratchet-wheel screw, although further details about the differences between calibres 245, 251, 261, 267, 273, and 279 are unknown. These different calibre numbers are thought to be catalog designations referring to variations in bridge shapes. The A. Schild 1153 movement offers functions such as stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second function. It was commonly used around the 1920s.
