The A Michel 527 is an open face mechanical watch movement with a cylinder escapement. It features an early two-section regulator for coarse and fine adjustment, and a ratchet on the dial side. The movement also has a hidden crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The backside is painted in a golden color. The old designation for this movement is A Michel 527, but it is now known as the Kienzle 41. This is the only cylinder calibre produced by Kienzle, and it bears similarities to the Haller EOS design, suggesting a possible origin from the Thomas Ernst Haller AG, which was acquired by Kienzle in 1928. The movement offers stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second function. It was used during the approximate period of 1940.
