The A Michel 499 is an open face calibre watch movement that shares many similarities with other movements such as the 1063, 1064, 1071, 1072, and 1121, with the exception of varying bridge layouts, crown-wheel bearings, and clicks. This movement features functions including stem wind and set, as well as a sub-second display. It was commonly used around the period of 1945.
